Emotive Design
We know that the best branding and design that will last in people’s memories is emotive design. We believe in designing to create positive feelings in the consumers’ and donors’ minds. Our goal is to evoke both an emotional and cognitive positive recognition, association, and memory through brand identity and positioning.
Much like individuals, each brand we create needs to have its own brand personality, history, brand values, and promise.
Whether in the nonprofit or for-profit sectors, a brand is a promise. We create strong brand promises that donors and consumers remember and grow to expect. We then work with our clients to uphold their brand promise such that there are no surprises or unknowns for people who interact with the brand. All these elements stem from emotive design.
Strategic Implementation
We implement strategy in many ways. No project is too small or too large for us. Even if all we are doing is updating a donor brochure, for instance, we engage in strategy to ensure that we are doing precisely what is needed. We have helped hundreds of clients over the years build their brands from scratch and we have helped hundreds more to refresh their brands. When designing, our process is iterative. We develop a creative brief from strategy, we check the brief with our client, and then we begin the design process. We check each step of our designs with the client to ensure that no surprises arise and to ensure that we are working directly to the brief we established. We iterate until we agree on a final look and feel which we finalize and provide our clients. Our creative studio is backed by impeccable production management and account executives to ensure that deadlines are met on time and the work is done easily and seamlessly.
Often, our strategic work leads to photo and video where we capture a story visually. We have found that we have excellent results when combining our photo and video storytelling with graphic design.
Our process is highly customized and is easily tuned to not only meet but exceed client expectations. Our process is nimble and changes to accommodate any project or client. Listening and Strategizing
The first engagement with us is a conversation where we listen to your story and your dreams. We want to break bread with our clients and really get to know them. We gently ask questions to gain a better understanding of who our clients are, what they have done thus far, and where they plan to go. This is our discovery process.
Next, we think through everything we discussed and we do market research to better understand who our clients’ target consumers and/or donors are based on our strategic discovery. This process is crucial because it allows design and ultimately message to the right groups of people.
At this stage, we determine where we can add the best value to our clients. This has to do with what is desired of us, project budgets, and many more factors which we use to ensure that we are far exceeding expectations and adding genuine value.
Some projects end at the strategy phase wherein we assist and consult on how best to offer your services. Depending on the project, strategic consulting may be all you need. What sets us out from others is our ability to strategize and then, when needed, implement our strategy in the best way to serve our clients and let them thrive.
