Our client, LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired of San Francisco (“LightHouse”), has been improving the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired for the past 120 years through assistive technology, travel, living skills training, and much more.

LightHouse transforms lives daily through its programs, many of them dedicated to helping seek–and obtain–gainful employment. According to the American Foundation for the Blind, the current unemployment rate for the blind is 66%, but LightHouse is working to change that through targeted training and employment opportunities.

One such opportunity is their collaboration with cleaning products companies and the Ability One program, in which LightHouse manufactures and bottles cleaning products that are safe for humans and highly effective against bacteria and viruses. Disabled janitorial workers use these products to clean over 100 million square feet of public space daily.

LightHouse needed help to successfully present its products and new packaging concepts to Office Depot and its stakeholders. That’s where Senspoint came in.

With our strategic approach, creative thinking, and marketing expertise, we were able to:

  • Formulate new design concepts for LightHouse’s product packaging
  • Create a compelling presentation deck to convey LightHouse’s story effectively
  • Train LightHouse executives on the best ways to pitch for a successful outcome
  • Become part of the pitch team to fully explain the relevance, importance, and value of LightHouse to Office Depot

As a result, the team at Office Depot was so impressed with LightHouse that they brought their products into their distribution centers following the presentation.

This partnership was a massive win for LightHouse and the blind and visually impaired community. By joining forces with Office Depot, a Fortune 500 company, LightHouse opened up unprecedented opportunities that ultimately signify the privilege to earn one’s keep for people who may otherwise not have this option.

Collaborating together, LightHouse and Office Depot will create a ripple effect that starts by improving the lives of blind and visually impaired people and goes out to benefit entire families and communities. Senspoint is proud to have played a pivotal role in creating and strengthening this partnership. We will continue making strides in our mission to help amplify the impact of organizations that are making a positive difference worldwide.
